I've been selling real estate in Denver for over 15 years and have seen a big shift in buyers wanting homes in walkable neighborhoods. Whether they're buying their first place or down-sizing from an empty nest, walkability is an important feature to many. Some of my favorite walkable Denver neighborhoods include Congress Park, Washington Park, Cherry Creek North, LoDo and LoHi.
Each neighborhood has its own style and personality, shopping and dining options. Part of the fun of living in a walkable neighborhood is trying new restaurants as they open. Stay tuned for market stats and homes for sale in these areas, as well as recommendations to some of the hot spots that are opening nearby.
